Using namebench free#
If you’re looking for a method to help find a faster DNS server for your system, Namebench is a cool free utility to help you out. This is a free project that is in continuing development, so results might not be perfect, and there may be more features added in the future. However, there are other reliable DNS servers. csv file as well so you can present the results in Excel. The fastest and most secure servers are usually offered by Google and Yandex, so most ISPs use them by default. The issue is that Namebench doesn't show the results in the browser, but the results are stored in the hard drive, to resolve this issue, you will need open Namebench from the Terminal with this command: /Applications/namebench.Namebench starts up and will include the current DNS server you have configured on your system.

Using namebench download#
There are few options in the interface, you can just click on the Start button and the test will start, is highly recommended to keep a low usage of Internet, do not add load to the network like YouTube videos, Netflix, download files, etc.
Using namebench install#
